Rembrandt Exhibit at Stetson University Hand Gallery
I was chosen to do a live etching intaglio demo and masterclass feature at Stetson University hand Gallery to show the intaglio printmaking process which was the same technique Rembrandt used in the 1600s as apart of their Rembrandt etching exhibit. This was a personal lifelong dream of mine since Rembrandt is my favorite artist and who got me into etching to begin with. I was featured on News 13 with Allison Walker to demonstrate and promote the Exhibit and masterclass demo. I then later got to do a masterclass at Stetson University on Etching and Printmaking. Both are featured below in videos and photos.
I was honored to be featured to do my first ever solo exhibition “Chelsea Smith: Magical Realism…Etching Myths & Legends” at the City of Orlando Downtown Public Library. Orlando Comissioner Patty Sheehan was my keynote speaker.
